Yes, you can learn with a female driving instructor at Astra. Astra has more than 300 DVSA-approved instructors, male and female, across Greater Manchester and Leeds, and you can ask for a female instructor when you book. The price is the same as any other lesson: £35 an hour in Greater Manchester, manual or automatic.
Lots of learners feel more relaxed with a female instructor, especially at the start. Some are nervous drivers, some are returning to driving after a long break, and for some it is a personal, family or religious preference. Whatever your reason, you don’t need to explain it: just tell us when you enquire.
