This policy explains what personal information Astra Driving School collects when you enquire about or book driving lessons, how we use it, and your rights. Last updated 4 November 2026.

What We Collect
- Enquiry details: your name, phone number, email, postcode or area, and lesson preferences (manual or automatic, availability, test date) that you give us through our website forms, Google ad forms, phone calls, WhatsApp, Facebook or Instagram.
- Lesson records: the lessons and packages you book, payments and your progress, once you become a student.
- Website data: cookies and similar technology, only if you accept them in our cookie banner. You can change this at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page.
How We Use It
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange lessons, a test or a course.
- To pass your enquiry to the Astra instructor who will teach you. Our instructors are independent contractors working under the Astra franchise, so they receive your name, contact details and lesson preferences.
- To keep records of bookings and payments.
- To measure which of our adverts bring enquiries, so we spend less on adverts that don’t work.
We use your information because you asked us to contact you about lessons, to carry out the lessons you book, and for our legitimate interest in running the business. We never sell your information.
Who Else Handles It
We use trusted service providers to run our enquiry system, phone, WhatsApp and advertising, including Google (Google Ads and Analytics), Meta (WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram) and our customer management software. They handle your information only to provide that service to us.
How Long We Keep It
We keep enquiry details only for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and lessons, and booking and payment records for as long as the law requires for business accounts. After that we delete them.
Your Rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop us contacting you. Email support@astradrivingschool.com and we will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). See also our terms and conditions.
